Winter Break Safety Message - Sent to Students 12/12/2022

Posted over 2 years ago  in Gonzaga University News.

Students,

As the winter break quickly approaches, Campus Security & Public Safety would like to remind those in our community please do not leave your bicycles or scooters locked outdoors on campus over the winter break. Consider storing your bicycle or scooter inside your dorm room, apartment, or a safe location off campus. Bicycles and scooters left in racks during the winter break typically invite theft.

For those students who have a parking permit and plan on leaving your vehicle on campus, you may park in your designated lot or on the 3rd or 4th floor of the BARC. For those who do not have a parking permit, please call Campus Parking at 509-313-6147 to sign up for temporary parking. You will be asked for your vehicle and contact information and be directed to the appropriate parking lot.

For students who live in the Logan Neighborhood, the City of Spokane has asked residents to park on the odd side of the street in residential areas for the snow season, between Nov. 15 and March 15.

CSPS, along with our SPD and SFD partners created a Holiday break safety tip video for the Gonzaga Community. You can find it Here
Good luck on finals and enjoy the much-deserved holiday break!

Director, Campus Security & Public Safety
